What is this great stoner invention? The Reverse Gravity bong (aka Water Fall or Anti-Gravity Bong).

This simple discreet marijuana smoking invention is easy to make and rips like a champ. There are many ways to build it but for this example I am going to use a 32 oz. Gatorade bottle, preferably Riptide Rush because it has the word rip in it, which can be pretty funny when you’re stoned.

First step, drink that delicious nectar from the Riptide rush bottle. Then use the extra electrolytes you have gained to gather the following materials:

1 Small Socket (6mm or 7mm works great, plus who uses metric tools anyway?)

1 Knife

1 Lighter

*Remember you also have the empty Gatorade bottle at this time as well

Now you want to poke a hole in the bottle using the knife. You want to do this near the bottom (I recommend 1 cm from the bottom when set flat). This will create your water fall and generate the source of suction to fill the bottle with chronic smoke.

Next you will want to take the cap from the bottle and infuse the socket into the center. This is where the lighter comes in handy. I recommend stabbing a small hole in the center of the cap, then use the lighter to heat the plastic to a level where flexible, then insert the socket into the small hole which then melts/molds around the socket creating and air tight seal to your bowl. This step can sometimes take several attempts and is the hardest to perfect. Getting stoned before attempting is highly recommended. Also if you have free time, take a stroll down the brass fitting isle at Home Depot and you will find some great bowl material. The socket is just recommended because most people have one somewhere around the house.

You are now finished with the creation process and are ready to move ahead to the testing stage. The testing stage can sometimes take several hours and may need to be repeated. [Fun Fact: This classic weed invention almost was not released to the world due to extended time spent on the testing period]

To test/use:

Load marijuana (preferably some dank kush for best enjoyment) into your bowl. Then place your thumb over the whole you made in the bottle and fill the bottle with water. Screw the cap on and then take the lighter and light it right above the bowl, and you will notice nothing happens. Release your finger and then the flame will pull towards the weed and the bottle will begin to fill with smoke. The size of bottle (that right you can use any size bottle and personalize this great little smoking device) and the amount of cannabis loaded into the bowl will determine how long you need to light it. Once the weed is finished burning unscrew the cap and inhale the smoke. Inhale slowly to avoid water (bong water flavored) from coming to your lips. Also if you angle the remaining water to cover the water fall hole it will create a bong like effect when you are taking the rip (making it less harsh on you).

Try out this amazing stoner invention! It’s easy to make and is a great way to conserve your weed stash. Also it is a great way to reduce the smell (especially if you can ghost your rip or blow your rip into some sort of cover up device).
