There are many ways to smoke weed at home if you do not have a pipe, papers, or bong. With a little Macgyver ingenuity and some weed creativity, you can turn just about anything into a smoking device. With the right tools you can make any type of marijuana device including pipes, joints, bongs, steamrollers, gravity bongs, and many others. This is not an ideal method of getting high and should only be used when there are no other options.
Making weed devices from homemade objects started out of necessity. A few decades ago you could not legally purchase anything weed related, including papers, pipes, bongs or vaporizers. If smokers wanted to get high they had to know how to make a homemade pipe. Many things in the house can be used to fashion a pipe including cans, food, and hardware. To make a pipe out of a can you simply wash out any residue, and make a bowl-like impression in the center. Then use a pin to punch small holes in the bowl for the smoke to go through. You then place the weed in the bowl, and suck the smoke through the hole in the top of the can. This isn't the most luxurious way to smoke weed but it gets the job done. You can also fashion a joint from some household items if you don't like smoking out of a can. An old standby for rolling papers has always been the bible because of its thin paper. But if you'd rather not incur god's wrath and burn your throat there is another lesser known option. You can make a delicious tasting joint with a paper gum wrapper. Some brands of stick gum have a plain paper wrapper without tinfoil. One of the best to use is Fruit Stripe gum. It gives the joint an awesome fruity taste. The only downside is it won't stick unless you roll it very tight and use a lot of saliva. These methods are great ways to smoke weed if you have no other options.
Another popular method of homemade smoking is to make a bong. You will need a tube of some kind, a stem and a bowl. A good object for the tube portion of the bong is a plastic drink container, for milk, juice or water. You will need to clean the bottle out and puncture a hole for the stem, and a hole for the carb. If possible it is best to puncture the hole with the stem for an airtight seal. A stem can be made from anything long and hallow. The best thing in the home for this is an empty Bic pen. If done properly the stem will seal itself. Next you will need a bowl. You need something metal or aluminum that you can burn the weed in. The easiest way is to fashion a bowl from tinfoil, but I've seen everything used from household plumbing to trombone mouthpieces. Once you've got the bowl in the stem and the stem sealed to the bottle, you just need to add water and you're good to go. Whether you choose to make a bong, pipe or joint, there are endless ways to smoke weed with household items. None of these methods are ideal, but all of them get the job done.
