Marijuana Accessories

Stoners use many devices every day to get high, sometimes so high that they forget about all of the other great stuff there is to help you enjoy your weed to the fullest. Here are some of the most useful medical marijuana accessories I have discovered in my smoking career:

Stash Jar – You can pick one of these up at your local smoke shop or create your own jar. This helpful weed accessory is much better than keeping your bud in a bag.

Grinder – Having a quality grinder gives you the ability to collect keef as well as break up your weed with ease. Be careful with cheap metal grinders, they can flake metal into your marijuana which is no fun for anyone involved. A nice grinder can run you around $100 but is well worth the investment if you are a regular smoker. Also plastic grinders work well but are usually just to break up your weed not to collect keef and you have fingers for that.

Pollen Press – If you have a grinder, invest in one of these. You collect your keef and press it together into a disc of hash for your enjoyment!

Poker – Having a quality poker is great for clearing bowls. However a paper clip also works great for this so no need to really invest in one of these.

Ashtray (with a cork) – Normal ash trays are not made to ash your pipe or bong bowl. Adding a cork to the center gives you a place to hit the bowl and empty the cashed weed.  Sometimes you can find ashtrays with a cork already included but most are not designed for marijuana users.

Bong Cleaner – There are many out there, but the two most recommended are 420 and PHx Glass cleaner. Personally I think 420 Bong cleaner is one of the most overpriced pot accessories so I never use it. PHx on the other hand works great, and is reusable. I purchased a bottle which I have used for an entire year and it still cleans my bong to new quality every time. Also you can use isopropyl alcohol and salt which can do a pretty good job. You can use alcohol and rice too, but I have seen the rice get stuck in some strange places so I would not recommend cleaning your pot smoking accessories with this method.

Pipe Case/Bong Bag – Kind of nice if you are traveling/moving but other than that are kind of for tools.

Scale – If you want to know if you are getting your money’s worth then a scale is the way to go. Or if you are in the weed business then a scale is a necessary tool for inventory management.

Magnifying Glass – You can use this to get a great look at your bud. Also using an LED flashlight can give you a great look at your weed.
